The review is tomorrow.

Northwind SecOps asks how tickets are encrypted, who can reach Postgres, and which identity the API uses. You have tonight.

What you will be able to do

Hand SecOps encryption, network boundaries, and identity in one page before the CISO review.

The idea

Security reviews stall deployments when answers are scattered across Slack. Lead with a one-pager: data encryption, network boundaries, and identity.

Write it before they ask. FDEs who bring the page get the ticket API into production; those who wait get a two-week delay.

# Trusted Data API — security summary

- Encryption: TLS in transit; AES-256 at rest on managed Postgres
- Network: private subnets; internal LB; DB SG → API SG only
- Identity: workload identity; no keys in the image; secrets manager for DB URL
- Data: tickets only; no raw PII beyond what the ticket already stores

If you cannot fill the three bullets, you are not ready for the review.

Key takeaways

  • Encryption, network, identity — three bullets.
  • Write it before the CISO meeting.
  • Diagrams come after the answers.
